Rule 8
Arrangements for Obtaining Health Certificate
(1) In accordance with sub-section (1) or (2) of section 12 of the Act, a person or organization who wants to obtain a health certificate should attach the following documents and submit an application to the head of the office in the format as per Schedule-10 along with a fee of one hundred rupees for export and two hundred rupees for re-export. Should be given :-
(a) Certificate of origin of goods to be exported,
(b) In case of forest produce, leave certificate issued by the Forest Department,
(c) In case of objects of archaeological importance, a letter of recommendation from the Department of Archaeology (d) Bill of lading (invoice) of goods to be exported (e) In case of re-exportation, the import permit issued by the country of import,
(f) In case of goods to be re-exported, a copy of the health certificate submitted at the time of import into Nepal,
(g) The official identity card of the exporter or the copy of the organization's registration certificate if the export is done by an organization and if someone has been appointed for such work, the letter of appointment.
(2) After receiving the application according to sub-rule (1), upon the necessary examination and examination of the documents received and the samples of the items to be exported, if it is deemed appropriate to issue a health certificate to the applicant, the head of the office will issue a health certificate in the format as per Schedule- for export and in the format as per Schedule-12 for re-export.< br> (3) If it is not deemed appropriate to issue a health certificate after the necessary examination and examination according to sub-rule (2), the head of the office shall inform the concerned applicant within seven days of receiving the application in the format as per schedule-13.
